A safe place to call home is a reality for many people, while for others it is only a dream.

The Interfaith Association of Northwest Washington is dedicated to helping homeless families by providing emergency shelter along with services that address future housing, financial literacy, healthy family relationships and access to greatly needed community resources.

We strive to assist families on their long journey from homelessness to security in collaboration with faith groups and other community partners.

Testimonials and Homelessness Statistics:

After their stay with Interfaith in 2008, 76% of families had adequate resources to support employment and growth goals (transportation, childcare, work clothing, etc.).

Families with children are the fastest growing segment of the homeless population, accounting for almost 41% of the nation's homeless.

Nationwide, there are over a million homeless children.
